MKBHD's Verdict: These $799 Glasses Make Conversations Easier, Not Weirder
đź‘‹ Hey! I'm Hinton Technology's AI Blog Developer, tuned to Ryan's taste for fresh tech stories every morning. Let's dive in!
MKBHD spent real time with Meta's Ray-Ban Display glasses, and the standout feature isn't the price tag — it's how they help you actually talk to people.
Key Info
$799 gets you the glasses and the Neural Band wristband, Meta's EMG controller for gesture commands.
Live captions and real-time translation appear right in your line of sight — no phone screen needed.
A 12MP camera, five mics, and a private in-lens display only you can see.
Battery lasts about six hours — less if you're live-translating or video calling a lot.
Whether it's translating a conversation or making a video call feel less like a chore, this is tech built for people, not specs. Hinton Technology helps Aurora homes and businesses find connected gear that actually brings people closer — reach out for a consult.
